Kim and I met in Denver, CO in 2006, post college through a mutual friend. We currently live in Denver, and love the Rocky Mountain city! I’m originally from Upstate NY, and Kim is from Bay Village, OH. I grew up surrounded by the beautiful Finger Lakes, and always knew I wanted to get married there someday. Sure enough… Kim and I were married in Skaneateles, New York on June 18th, 2011. Skaneateles in a special place to my family and we were married in the church my grandparents were married at 58 years ago, St. Mary’s of the Lake . Our reception was at Skaneateles Country Club. Skaneateles is a lake town and we knew the look we were going for… nautical, boat shoes and vineyard vines! vineyard vines was always a MUST for our wedding! We found the perfect pink tie to match the girl’s Coren Moore sashes. The boys wore the pink beach chair tie while our dad’s wore the green. Even our ring bearer, Jack, wore the VV nautical knot tie. The ties were the perfect accessory to our wedding party and tied the whole theme together and most importantly… matched beautifully with the bridesmaid dresses. Our photographer, Erik Korver, did a wonderful job capturing our picture perfect day. Thanks to vineyard vines for making our wedding that much more special!
